Down Spouts Replaced
Hi Stan,
We noticed you've installed new downspouts on your house. Can you give me info on where you got them? I'm planning on doing mine later this month. We're plugging along with the house...we're in the middle of taking bids for new flooring and we should have the exterior re-painted by the end of the month. Really like your new colors, by the way. Take care and thanks.

Hey everybody,
We're new to the neighborhood and knee deep in restoring our house. We're looking for the metal drain spouts. Does anyone know where to get those?
Thanks so much!
JMC and TC
Welcome.
You can get metal drain spouts here:
http://www.montavillasheetmetal.net/
or Schmeer Sheet Metals on NW Vaughn can do as well.

Welcome JMC & TC,
Montavilla Sheet Metal is our vote, too. They also built the flashing for our atrium skylight - they're artists.

Hey Rummer family,
I need to replace some of my downspouts (some are broken, others are missing). And my guess is I need to replace the drainpipes they feed into under ground, circling the house.
I might tackle the project myself, but I would rather hire somebody for a good price. Has anybody replaced their pipes? If so...
Any good recommendations for contractors/companies to use? Rough idea of price?
Any other advice?
Thanks everybody!
JCM
The spout drain pipes in my Rummer actually go under the foundation from what I can see. But it looks like the pipe they drain into is a perforated pipe. If you're up to doing a green project, you could replace you drain pipes with bioswales or rain gardens.
